This is Thor, God of Thunder – one of the most powerful Asgardians and Avenger. Thor Odinson can be paired with just about anyone in the MCU but where he is most fitting would be with the Trinity (secular) – namely, with Captain America (ISFJ) and Iron Man (ENTP). If you haven’t already seen MCU’s Avenger’s Endgame you’ll see what I mean, there is an epic scene against Thanos you won’t want to miss.
Kevin Costner isn’t an easy personality type to nail down, this curiosity made me want to dig into Kevin’s function stack. I reflected on his acting career and movies made – for me it was “Dances with Wolves”, “Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves” and “WaterWorld” to name a few. Oh yeah of course there’s “Body Guard” with Whitney Houston. Come to think of it there isn’t a Kevin Costner movie I didn’t like.
Jon Snow. Probably one if not my favorite character from Game of Thrones. Seasons over so there will definitely be some spoilers here – so tune in and binge if you haven’t yet. I’ve been wanting to type Jon Snow for a while now. There’s been a lot of confusion circulating the internet about Jon’s personality type. I’ve seen ISFP, INFJ, INTJ and yes even ENTJ. Just seems like typing fanatics have given up here saying well… Jon has no type.
“Iron” Mike Tyson. Easily one of my top 5 favorite boxers of all time. See, I grew up in this era – a great time for boxing and a great time to be playing one of my favorite video games. Yes you’ve guessed it – Nintendo’s Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!!
So we all know Mike Tyson – if you don’t then you’re totally missing out on some really classic boxing fights and knockouts – literally. Mike Tyson has been in there with some true heavy weights all while overcoming adversity – Mike has been on top and he’s been way way down at the bottom. A true warrior indeed.
I couldn’t get the photo I really wanted for this due to Marvel’s licensing & usage rights – but I think this one will suffice.
Captain America, a.k.a Steve Rogers. Easily one of my favorite Marvel Super Heroes – there’s just loads to write about when it comes to Cap.
Super soldier, Avenger and one of the rare heroes able to lift and wield the power of Mjolnir (Thor’s Hammer). It’s Caps hand to hand combat skills that sets him apart from his contemporaries – Thor and Iron Man. You combine Mjolnir with his indestructible shield and you’re in for some awesome combo’s.
Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist. Are we talking about Tony Stark or the personality in question? Or are they one in the same? By this time it’s really hard to separate the two, Robert Downey Jr. might as well be Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man. Who better to wear the armor of Iron Man than Robert Downey Jr. himself. Let’s not forget, he totally owned it playing Sherlock Holmes.
I like writing about seasoned types – those that’s lived life and have settled into their personalities. Morgan Freeman is one of them.
I’m a big fan. Movies like “Glory”, and “Shawshank Redemption” wouldn’t be memorable classics if it weren’t for Morgan Freeman. And those voice overs – Morgan Freeman is also well known
for his voice and tone delivery. It makes you just want to stop what you’re doing and listen in – at times, you aren’t so drawn in by the content as you are just listening to Morgan Freeman’s soothing calm reassuring voice. It isn’t too strong but strong enough – I think this is what Hollywood saw. Alright enough with the intro, let’s talk about what the sources say about Freeman’s personality type. Yeah, that was a little abrupt but I’m a little excited to dig in.
I’m a big fan of Tom Cruise and if you’re an 80’s kid it’s likely you are too. But it’s also likely you’re take on Tom has shifted since the days of “Top Gun”, “Risky Business”, “The Outsiders” and “A Few Good Men”. Most people nowadays remember Tom the scientologist – his interviews on Oprah and a few others got many thinking where the old Tom has gone. Yet we still appreciate movies like “Mission Impossible”, “War of the Worlds”, “Oblivion”, and “The Last Samurai”. I’m not ashamed to admit – I actually really liked “Far and Away”. As we shall see though, Tom’s personality timeline provides hints, Tom the scientologist actually makes it easier to get to know Tom.
Jordan B. Peterson, get ready for a read – where do I begin. I guess it would be easier to start by giving you a basic overview because Mr. Peterson is a loaded intellectual of our time – being an intellectual myself, I can quickly go down that rabbit hole. Alright so Peterson is a Canadian clinical psychologist and professor at Toronto – Peterson came into the scene after the controversy surrounding free speech under Bill C-16. Long story short, Canadian legislature required individuals by law to use preferred gender pronouns (“zee”, “zher”, or basically whatever) – failure to do so would place this individual under prosecution of a hate crime. Just search Jordan B. Peterson on Youtube, grab some pizza and prepare to be intellectually immersed – it’s quite orgasmic. Peterson basically dismantles the entire legislative panel single handedly, all in the name of the first amendment – yeah, freedom of speech.
Loaded intellectual, I know that sounded superfluous – as if being intellectual wasn’t enough. We’ve seen intellectuals scattered about the channels of youtube – but when was the last time you watched an intellectual throw down in the fashion and scale Peterson has. Mind you this all started at a University. I’ve seen some videos criticizing Peterson of being a Marxist himself, untrue. I would agree with Einstein (an INTP) – “Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.”
Jason Bateman, I really like this guy – dude has talent. I wasn’t even aware he was in a lot of shows I really liked back in the 80s like “Silver Spoons”, “Little House on the Prairie”, “The Hogan Family” then fast forward to “Juno”, “Arrested Development” and “Ozark”.
I’ve seen sources say Jason is “ENTP” or an “INTJ” and I disagree. I could not find one source that concluded what I think he is and I was a little surprised. I don’t see “ENTP”, however I do see a case for “INTJ”, but I don’t see “Introverted Intuition” being Jason’s dominant function – you can see it his interviews and his acting.
