Johnny Depp is a great example of an INFP with an extremely well managed Fi (Introverted Feeling) as his primary function.
Similar to Keanu Reeves (ISFP), Johnny Depp instead is more responsible with Ne (Extraverted Intuition) rather than Se (Extraverted Sensing) so we can expect Johnny to be more conceptual and curious with the way he carries himself.
Yes Johnny also has Ne, Si and inferior Te – but it’s that Fi authenticity we feel when Johnny plays virtually any character he’s given. From “21 Jumpstreet“, “Edward Scissor Hands” to “Willy Wonka” to playing a charming yet quirky pirate captain on “Pirates of the Caribbean” Johnny never fails to deliver earning him critical acclaim and multiple award nominations.
I love INFP’s, well the healthy ones just with any other function stack – an unhealthy INFP can be extremely dangerous. Don’t think just because INFP’s are feelers, they aren’t susceptible to wreaking havoc when they absolutely want to feel whatever they feel is right (or wrong). They will go to great lengths to get you to feel exactly how it feels if they should choose too, you won’t be necessarily prepared for.
Fortunately for Johnny, we have a healthy version for the most part even in the midst of controversy, Johnny’s reliance on Fi allows for integrity in those dealings (Amber Heard court case). Perhaps Johnny should have stayed with Winona Ryder.
Fi is so powerful, underestimated, unique and eclectic. Depp has gained widespread recognition for his distinctive and often eccentric character portrayals. He has received numerous awards and nominations, including Golden Globe Awards and Screen Actors Guild Awards, for his work in the entertainment industry.
